1930 Suakin Sudan Window Architecture Hugo A. Bernatzik - ORIGINAL AF2 HT1 Steering WheelThis is an original 1930 photogravure of a wooden bay window in Suakin or Sawakin, a port on the Red Sea in the northeast area of the Anglo Egyptian Sudan (now Sudan), Africa. The buildings, built of coral, are now in ruins. Photograph by Hugo Adolf Bernatzik, the noted Austrian anthropologist and photographer.
